Game development Philosophy

I believe that games and video games in particular are the most powerful learning tool man has created yet. Not only are they a way to spread joy and entertainment, but through playing them we can learn and develop skills we’d otherwise have significantly more difficulty accessing and we can experience circumstances and perspectives of people far removed from our own to inform us with an improved understanding of our world and its people from the comfort of our homes. Like scientists and doctors, I believe game developers have an inherent power and responsibility to do good.

PERSONAL BRANDING LOGO

Logo2018Rework.png

This horse symbol is what I consider to be a logo of my personal brand logo. Phillip means "lover of horses" in Greek, and I do love horses. Horses are also known in Greek mythology to have been created by Poseidon, god of the sea, and I consider swimming to have played large role in my life. I think of it as an unstoppable steed. To me it symbolizes my want to continue to work hard like a workhorse and never stop pushing onward. It also helps to make something uniquely memorable. My hope is that I can pass this symbol onto my family and that one day it will become a symbol of quality and dependability.
